General: The EZ flow II disposable filters are specifically designed to protect furnace and central air units in residential and light commercial applications. The construction of both models is identical, with the exception of the media retainer. The EZ flow II does not have a media retainer, as the media itself is directly adhered to the frame for non-metallic applications.

Construction: The frame is constructed from heavy chipboard in a one-piece design that eliminates corner separation. The filtering media is continuous filament spun glass, with a resinous bonding agent providing rigidity and resistance to media compression. The media support of the EZ flow II is designed to function without a retainer, as the frame is directly adhered to the media, which has a light skin to make it self-retaining. Sealing is achieved with a resilient hot-melt adhesive running the full perimeter of the frame on both upstream and downstream sides. The filter frame is marked with the UL marking, indicating that it has been tested by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. and classified as UL 900 listed.
