Flanders Ez Flow II MERV 4 Fiberglass Air Filter, 14X18X1, 12 Count Pack

The EZ flow II disposable filters are specifically designed for the protection of furnaces and central air units in residential and light commercial settings. The construction of both models is identical, with the exception of the media retainer. The EZ flow II does not include a media retainer, as the media itself is directly adhered to the frame for non-metallic applications.

The frame is constructed from heavy chipboard in a one-piece design, which eliminates corner separation. The filtering media consists of continuous filament spun glass, with a resinous bonding agent providing rigidity and resistance to media compression. The media support of the EZ flow II is designed to function without a retainer, as the frame is directly adhered to the media, which has a light skin to make it self-retaining. Sealing is accomplished with a resilient hot-melt adhesive running the full perimeter of the frame on both upstream and downstream sides. The UL marking appears on the filter frame, indicating that these filters have been tested by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. and are classified as UL 900 listed.
