ABOUT THE MEDIA: Our media is 100% synthetic and non-woven, making it both durable and environmentally friendly. It is engineered with a gradient density composition, achieving a MERV 8 rating using a mechanical method of particle capture. Unlike other filters, our media does not rely on an electrostatic charge, which can dissipate over time and during use, ensuring consistent and effective particulate capture.

MEDIA SUPPORT: Additionally, our newly designed expanded metal is continuously laminated on the air leaving side of the filter. This provides stability to the pleats, eliminating flutter during operation and ensuring optimal performance.

PLEAT DESIGN: Our V-Pleat design not only aids in reducing pressure drop, but also reduces energy costs. This design allows for maximum airflow and dust holding capacity throughout the filter's lifespan, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operation.

FRAME: We have constructed a heavy-duty two-piece moisture-resistant frame for our filters. This frame includes diagonal and horizontal support members that are bonded to the media on the air entering and leaving sides. This design provides unsurpassed frame strength and durability. Additionally, our interlocking corners and positive media-to-frame seal greatly reduce the possibility of air-bypass, ensuring that all air passes through the filter media.

GENERAL INFORMATION: Our filters are specifically designed for dust holding, pressure drop, and MERV ratings. Our Pre Pleat 40 LPD filter achieves the highest dust holding capacity and the lowest pressure drop in the industry, while maintaining a mechanical MERV 8 rating per ASHRAE Standard 52.2-2007. It is also classified UL 900 Class 2 for added safety.
